Worker Compensation NJ Benefits

The workers compensation statutes provide for various benefits for injured workers, that includes medical benefits, employer’s insurance carrier or the employer itself needs to pay for all your reasonable treatment to get you better from your injury. They also have to pay for temporary income benefits, meaning, pay you while you are out of work until you are able to return to work and then finally, you are entitled to what is called The Permanency Award, meaning, if there is permanent injury, you are entitled to compensation for that permanent injury. That comes down to a grid that’s been approved by the laws state in New Jersey. We look at the grid based on the percentage of disability that you have and it tells us what permanent compensation you are entitled to.
