I’m a workers’ compensation lawyer. What that means is I handle cases of employees or workers who are injured at work. In order to have a workers’ compensation claim you have to be injured in the course of your employment. In other words, you have to be working when you get injured.

Now fault is not an issue in workers’ comp so even if you have an accident, let’s say a car accident during the course of your employment and the accident is your fault you still have a workers’ compensation claim.
