Tearing
Tearing refers to microscopic breaks in the delicate tissues and nerves of the brain caused by a trauma to the head; this damage to the nerve system can impair bodily function. Unfortunately, tearing is very difficult to detect; x-rays, MRI’s and CAT-scan’s are effective for diagnosing larger areas of damage, but often fail to detect these small tears. An incorrect medical diagnosis may result from the difficulty in detecting tears in the wiring of the brain.
