Herbert’s hunger for the championship comes in part from the tragic automobile accident that took the lives of his two sons, Jon and James, in January of this year. He has dedicated his 2008 season to his boys, and wants to make them proud by winning the crown jewel of drag racing: the NHRA Top Fuel championship to go along with his four IHRA championship titles.
