A Clyde woman died in a one-vehicle accident early this morning on State Highway 36, about five miles southeast of Abilene. The Department of Public Safety identified the woman as Lanitta Baugh Sturgill, 47, of Clyde. She was pronounced dead at the scene at 4 a.m. by Justice of the Peace Burlie Taylor.
