Long Shore Benefits

Under the Long Shore and Harbor Worker’s Compensation Act, you are entitled to three medical care to be paid for by the employer or its insurance carrier. In addition, while you are out of work and under a doctor’s care, you are entitled to collect temporary disability benefits. Thirdly, you are entitled also to make a claim for permanent disability.
