A railroad company/employer has the following duties under FELA:

• Taking reasonable measures to prevent employee harm from intentional acts by third parties or other employees
• Preventing the use or implementation of unreasonable work quotas in terms of production or time
• Providing employees with adequate assistance in certain situations where a task surpasses the worker’s physical abilities
• Hiring an adequate number of workers
